The Concept
Spark meets conversation.
The BLAZE logomark fuses two symbols into one: a flame rising inside a speech bubble. The speech bubble represents community and conversation — the core promise of the platform. The flame adds energy, momentum, and a direct reference to the brand name, evoking the spark that brings people together.
The design was developed specifically for a Gen X audience that values clarity, function, and authenticity over flashy aesthetics. A bold sans-serif wordmark and earth-inspired color palette create an identity that feels mature, grounded, and welcoming — competitive with established social platforms while standing apart through warmth and restraint.
Every element was evaluated for accessibility: contrast ratios tested across backgrounds, simplified forms that hold at small scale, and a single typeface used with intentional weight variation rather than complexity for its own sake.
Visual System
Color & typography.
No neon, no gradients chasing attention. Clay, hide, and bark — colors that read as mature and trustworthy rather than urgent.
